The list is built to the account and role criteria agreed at kickoff.

Provisioned numbers, monitored for spam flags

Business numbers are provisioned for the campaign and checked for reputation flags.

Recordings and a report every Friday

The report lists dials, connects, conversations, objections, and meetings.

What counts as a qualified meeting

A qualified meeting counts toward your block only when it is an ICP-fit account, the agreed title, a confirmed need or timing, a time accepted and re-confirmed before the meeting, and the meeting held. No-shows don't count. We re-book them.

Compliance

We call business lines during business hours in the prospect's time zone, identify ourselves and the client on every call, maintain an internal do-not-call list honoured immediately, scrub US lists against the National Do Not Call Registry, and follow call-recording consent rules for the state or province we're calling into.

Invoiced in USD, paid in advance, exclusive of applicable taxes and bank or FX charges. No rev-share, no equity, no hourly billing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does outsourced cold calling cost?

$1,500 to set up. $6,000 per block of qualified meetings. When a block is delivered, the next one starts.

How do I know the meetings you book will be qualified?

You define “qualified” in writing before we start: title, company size, need, and timing. Every meeting is checked against that definition before it goes on your calendar, and a meeting that does not match does not count toward your block.

What happens if someone no-shows?

No-shows do not count toward your block. We re-confirm and re-book them at no extra cost; you pay for meetings held with the person you agreed to see.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. You buy a block of meetings, not a monthly retainer. When a block is delivered, you decide whether to authorize the next one.

Can I hear calls before I commit?

Every call is recorded. You get recordings from your own first week of dialing, and recordings for every booked meeting after that. Thaw started in 2026 and has no case studies to show yet.

How do you keep your numbers from being flagged "Scam Likely"?

We provision business numbers, register them with carrier analytics providers, and monitor them for flags. A flagged number is re-registered or replaced. No caller can promise zero flags; ask us for the current flag rate on your campaign instead.

Will I be talking to the decision maker?

The required title is part of the written qualification criteria, so a meeting counts only if it matches. When the buyer is a committee, the notes identify the contact as an influencer instead of recording that person as the decision maker.

Where do your lists come from, and how fresh are they?

We build a new list for each block from the sources named on the industry page, then verify phone numbers and titles at the start of that block. Lists are not reused across clients.

Will the same person be calling for us the whole time?

One caller works two campaigns, and yours is one of them. Callers change jobs, so we cannot promise the same person forever; you can request a swap, and a handoff includes the call history and notes.

How will I know how the campaign is performing?

Every Friday you get dials, connects, conversations, objections, meetings booked, meetings held, and the qualification pass rate. They are the same numbers Thaw tracks internally.

Are your callers reading from a script?

They work from a call framework you approved, not a word-for-word script, and are briefed on the objections listed on your industry page. If a caller is not working with your market, you can request a swap.

Will outsourced cold calling damage our reputation?

Some people dislike being called however it is done. We identify the client and Thaw on every call, honour do-not-call requests immediately, and cap attempts per contact. We do not claim that nobody will be annoyed.

Are there fees beyond the setup and the block?

No. The $1,500 setup and $6,000 block are the only charges. There is no platform fee, per-dial charge, or overage.

What is your show-up rate?

We report the show-up rate on your own campaign every week rather than quote an industry number. No-shows do not count toward the block.

Who decides whether a meeting counts?

You decide in writing before the first call. Disputes are settled by listening to the recording together within five business days.

If the meetings are not good, can I stop quickly?

Yes. You can stop after any block. Mid-block, you can request a different caller or a change to the list or call framework.

How does this compare with hiring an in-house SDR?

An in-house role gives you direct employment control and adds salary, management, software, data, and phone costs. Thaw provides the listed campaign inputs for a setup fee and meeting block price; the cost sources used for comparison are linked on this page.

Where are the callers based?

Callers work remotely and speak English. Before kickoff, we tell you which caller is assigned and where that person is working from.

How quickly can calling start?

Days 1–3 cover the 45-minute kickoff, written ICP and offer, and list verification. Days 4–7 cover the script, numbers, CRM, calendar, and caller briefing; the first dials and recordings follow on days 8–10.

What is included?

The setup covers the list, script, number provisioning, CRM and calendar connection, and training on your offer. Each block includes the caller time, dialer, recordings, notes, booking, and weekly reporting described on this page.

Can you work with our CRM?

The setup includes a CRM and calendar connection. The exact fields and workflow are agreed during kickoff so call notes, recordings, and meetings go to the system your team uses.

Which industries do you cover?

The published blocks cover ten volume-oriented business markets: cleaning, landscaping, pest control, staffing, merchant services, telecom, commercial insurance, logistics, HVAC service, and payroll or PEO services.

What makes Thaw different from another calling agency?

The operating model is stated in numbers rather than as a performance claim. One trained caller works two campaigns. Yours gets half of every working day: about 75 dials, 20 working days a month, roughly 1,500 dials per block. The list, numbers, dialer, recordings, CRM notes, booking, and weekly report are included.

Why not use an AI caller?

In February 2024, the FCC classified AI-generated voice as an artificial voice under the TCPA, requiring prior express written consent. Bland.ai states in its own blog that cold calling is not permissible on its platform for that reason, and California AB 2905 requires an upfront AI disclosure on AI-voice calls as of January 2025. Thaw uses human callers and records the calls for review.
